Basically i am modelling a notched tensile testing sample in marc mentat. While doing this, i used the local adaptivity tool at the high strained parts of the sample because shapes of the elements became unacceptable. After analysis is done, i need the nodal values of highest strain points (Equivalent Plastic Strain, Von Mises Stress and Cauchy Stress). However, when i select a node from selection control and use report writer, it only gives me the nodal values up to first remeshing increment. I am looking for a way to get the nodal values of all increments for a single node at highest strained point. Any help or suggestion is welcomed, thank you in advance.
There are some limitations related to local remeshing.
If you could use global remeshing which is better for element distortion, you can create history plot for sample points located at anywhere you like. The history data can then copied to a text file. In the attached model, a sample point is selected to plot stress during post-processing.
