Defining small sliding contact in SOL103

Hey guys,

I am currently traying to run Sol103 on a small component where I would like to define a tied and small sliding contact pair. Is it possible to define a small sliding contact in Nastran similar to abaqus? if yes, then where can i find the relevant documentation for it?

Any help would be really appreciated

Dear Mr. Vanapalli,

touching contact is not supported in SOL 103, but you could try to use cohesive glued contact and define a proper normal- /tangential contact stiffness.
