The tornado on tuesday night last week missed my house by about 1200 ft... it was a direct hit last time(2006), but I wasn't living in it then.

My boss just told me that I was late 67 times last year and so far this year 22 times…he didn’t write me up. It’s a good thing I guess.

So which one was the "good" thing? Being late (was it a good reason?)or not getting wrote up?

At a place I once worked an employee was on his last leg of tardies. When the personnel manager (that's what they were called then) asked him why he was late AGAIN, his answer was,

"I just had to get that last nut"

No other questions followed.

Both...I don't have any excuses and he never ask... I was 55 minutes late this morning
