I'm hoping someone can help. I have been using and programming PC-DMIS for about a year and my company is thinking of buying a Wenzel, which uses Open DMIS, instead of the B&S that I want. Does anybody know anything about the machine or software? Any help would be appreciated.
you can get I++ for PC-DMIS. (and Quindos, for that matter) Unrelated to the renishaw support.
What you mean to say is you can get an I++ interface for pc-dmis.
(for retrofits etc. I have the proto 2.6 interface for the johannsen controller)
Pc-dmis will not support the renishaw controller for the PH20 or the REVO.
I have been down this path.
Why do you think I would want to switch to different software if I don't have to?
It just means more problems retraining operators to use new software.
I dont particularly mind as its more software exposure for me.
