Worked as a machinist for 18 years, then moved into quality12 years ago, where I was introduced to the wonderful world of CMM's.Making a long story short, I am now flailing away on a Browne & Sharpe Global using 2009MR1, with a LEVEL 1 class under my belt.I recently tried to register for the LEVEL 2 class, only to be told that I WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER WITHOUT THE LATEST VERSION OF SOFTWARE, which has my employer looking at other software options.Curious if anyone else has had this terrific experience when if comes to supported (or unsupported) software.
No SMA. The cost is prohibitive at the moment in the current economic climate.Thinking that 2009 and 2011 can't be THAT different for the class to be denied. We kind of feel like we're being held hostage, and haven't had this issue with other software packages.
