Worked as a machinist for 18 years, then moved into quality12 years ago, where I was introduced to the wonderful world of CMM's.Making a long story short, I am now flailing away on a Browne & Sharpe Global using 2009MR1, with a LEVEL 1 class under my belt.I recently tried to register for the LEVEL 2 class, only to be told that I WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER WITHOUT THE LATEST VERSION OF SOFTWARE, which has my employer looking at other software options.Curious if anyone else has had this terrific experience when if comes to supported (or unsupported) software.
Not to mention that the LEVEL 1 class that I attended had way too much time devoted to things other than the software, like basic GDT and other mundane subjects ( not the instructors fault , he was excellent and has to teach to the lowest common denominator).
