Worked as a machinist for 18 years, then moved into quality12 years ago, where I was introduced to the wonderful world of CMM's.Making a long story short, I am now flailing away on a Browne & Sharpe Global using 2009MR1, with a LEVEL 1 class under my belt.I recently tried to register for the LEVEL 2 class, only to be told that I WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER WITHOUT THE LATEST VERSION OF SOFTWARE, which has my employer looking at other software options.Curious if anyone else has had this terrific experience when if comes to supported (or unsupported) software.

  • I would suggest either the advanced class (3rd) or the GDT class. Much can be learned about the powers of the dark side by attending the GDT class. Keep in mind it is how to use GDt within PC-DMIS, it is not a class on GDT standards or practices.
