Any weird/crazy co-workers in your company

Ping-pong is what the guys play during breaks, and its very fun to watch.

That is until someone doesn't like something or starts to lose, and he starts cursing and throws a tantrum (Throwing or kicking things).

Anyone else have someone like that at work. I was just wondering.
  • A while back, one of the guys in my department accidentally got a sloppy joes sandwich out of the vending machine instead of the burger or whatever he was after. He threw it at the wall from across the lunchroom, then went out to his truck and peeled out of the parking lot. It was pretty awesome.

We've got a fair number of eccentric personalities around here, myself included.
  • A guy arrives here at work to apply for a job. Gives his name, address, phone, social security #. Leaves and goes out into our parking lot, sits in someone's Explorer for a bit then gets out and STEALS one of our Engineer's car. The Engineer was going out to roll up his window when he saw his car driving away. Oh, the car the guy arrived in was stolen too. I am amazed. They found four different IDs in the car he left behind. The Engineer said he never locks his car and leaves his keys in the console. They caught the guy. Don't know who is the bigger idiot.
  • I've heard from a number of people that they always leave their cars unlocked in hopes that someone determined to get into them won't smash a window. Leaving your keys in the center console? That's just stupid.
  • Hey jmgreen,
I thought that guy was a repo man!! Sunglasses

We had our van stolen from behind our apartment, where the parking lot is located. They took it with the alarm going off. Many friends heard it and thought it was weird. Called the police, but they kind of brushed it off since we had insurance.

The car was found by a friend and we had the police come and retrieve it since we couldn't trust it to be safe. Took anything they found, from the battery to the rosaries we had hanging.

just how many mexicans you work with?
  • We had a guy many years ago that would go into fridge, unwrap OTHER peoples food, take a bite out of it, and re-wrap it.

He was also a filthy person. I named him "Soot". We soon fired him.
  • We have a guy that likes to bite. He will just come and stand next to you and bite you on your shoulder, well its more like a friendly nibble.

If anyone did that in our place they would find themselves unconscious in one of the swarf bins with less teeth than a hockey player.

Hahaha... majority of the machinist here, plus shipping personnel and receptionists are Mexican.

None live near us, but the person who found it was a paisana from Chihuahua,Mex. Wink

The rosaries were from my grandma(RIP) and our priest(RIP), who had it blessed by the Pope for my parents' Wedding Anniversary.
