When I first started I was more motivated, when ever I started a run I would stay till it was done, regardless of how late I was here. They didn't like that. Now we have other operators so my main focus as the only programmer is just writing programs. I still try to stay late some days so I get at least an hour of overtime in, once every couple of weeks or so.
I have been blessed that we actually need another programmer who does fixtures but and since I can use the extra cash for the girls I have been given the green card on overtime. I am only putting in 10 extra but could and would if needed...
The weird thing is I hear some people are off the hook with work and some are dead. Quality and timing count. If you cant give them good product on time you are out. We are been asked to do take over work from Magna because they are have too much work.
