Has any body used or created a database to use with PC-DMIS? Something other than Datapage+. They are wanting me to look into other options. Anything to look for, try, what works, what didn't any advice would be appreciated.

A database is just a bunch of data. File cabinet is an analog database, Excel and Access are digital databases.
DataPage is a full-service SPC software that uses a database to perform SPC calculations and create reports to track quality metrics.
There are dozens of competing SPC softwares on the market. Any worth using readily import PC-DMIS data.
We use QC-CALC. Works great but if you use xact meas your data comes thru with a lot of excess garbage. Any profile dimensions also have multiple entries instead of "1" per. I have seen this change with new dmis versions as well. Lots of choices out there, looking just to look or something specific ?
