So, I bought a pitching machine for my grandson as hitting is his biggest issue playing baseball.

Took it out to him last night so we could try it out (neither of us could wait any longer)
Not really enough room there to do it but we did it anyway. Went through the bucket 4 times (96 pitches), he was hitting about 65-70% of the pitches (most misses due to slight drift inside of pitching machine on some pitches, maybe the machine, maybe the balls ~ $2 balls). And they weren't all going down 'right field line', so that tells me the setup I had is slower than what he sees in games OR I was too far away. IF I was further away then regs, he would get more time to 'set up' and drive straight (or left). He bounced 2 hits off my van (behind and behind him) and one off his moms car (also behind & behind) and one off the house (straight behind). Didn't break anything at least.
