I haven’t been able to validate a recent inquiry we received at my inspection lab, so I will post it here to play it safe. We were contacted by an individual who claims to work for Pfizer in quality control for a certain blue pill. He reached out to our lab to get an expert opinion on whether he should use least squares, max inscribed, or minimum circumscribed when taking before and after measurements of the circumference of his test subjects. He also asked what is the gentlest styli as he has been given feedback the the tungsten carbide is both too hard and too cold for their liking. Any thoughts?
