I walked into the lab today. I sat down at my computer. I opened the PCDMIS Forum and noticed a new thread.... CMM/GD&T Jokes. Hopeful, I opened it for a chuckle or two. unfortunately the content was not there. I spent a while thinking of a joke. and yet I could not find it. I had lost all hope. I gazed outward from the lab. through the window onto the shop floor. and there it was. the joke i had searched for. it was faint and unclear. I had found the joke. it was me.
This reminds me of one of my favorite books. I keep a copy on my desk. It is a tiny book, just 100 pages and maybe 50 words per page, but it is all beautiful. It's called "Meditations for Miserable People (who want to stay that way)" by Dan Goodman.
