How it is possible ??

Is it really my software doing this ??

I cannot believe it but yes !! PC-DMIS did it !! so i share it with you, and please share what was your bugs today ?

I believe its good idea to learn, to be prepared for, to have fun ...

Yesterday was editing new program and it was like:

...

feature 1

feature 2

head angle 1

feature 3

feature 4

head angle 2 (same as head angle 1)

feature 5

feature 6

...

after i measured this all i noticed what head angle 2 was the same and it was probably added by mistake, so i deleted it to clean a little

and later there was a need to measure it again

but PC-DMIS said - there is no chosen head angle or something like this

i said - said its stupid. its few lines up there and run the program

PC-DMIS said - F$% Y#$% and crashed program

i said - no NO! why cannot measure points what was measured five minutes ago ? you have the angle chosen up there

PC-DMIS told me he do not like me and after few minutes of blackouts, reseting pc i returned the (in my opinion not needed) "head angle 2 (same as head angle 1) " on its place like before .

So what is your PC-DMIS bug for today ?

today, made few points one of them probe goes 40mm away

coordinates were wrong

fixed coordinates and it goes same position like before

again

again

cannot fix it

cannot even copy other point and change its poistion because its changing it back

yes, but two days of training we pass on learning things not on explaining us every possible error

today:

report printing:

the logic for printing pdf and excell id different so when doing measurement of 3 pieces and for example number 4 i delete reports new reports will have numbers ..... 5 and another ..... 4 and its make really mess when doing some repeats, also without changing name cannot change index number in one of them.

So i use "notify" - this option to show where to save file and name it by myself the problem is when i finish measurement even if i save it to "auto" in element list and in file menu .... it forces to save manually the files from time to time what causing another problems because people just do not like it or cancel it like normal pc-dmis error

its not allways its from time to time
