Is anybody familiar with a script that will scour your program and replace all the Move Increments with Move Points in the alignment context in which the moves reside? My team really doesn't like Move increments, but I really like the convenience while programing. It would be neat if there were a macro that converts them all with a click of a button.
Not me, well, not really, I do use a cane, but I'm not lame...
HOWEVER, use of MOVE/INCREMENT isn't a good idea IMO. If you get an air-trigger (for whatever reason) during a move/increment, when you tell it to continue it will try to move the entire increment value from where it is sitting since there is no XYZ absolute target for it to move to. For example, you have a move/increment of 0,0,100 and it moves 75mm in Z and gets an air-trigger, when you tell it to continue it will try to move the entire 100mm FROM IT'S CURRENT LOCATION, thus giving (in this example), a 175mm move.
