Need some help

I am new to using PC-DMIS and trying to write a program. I have aligned the part and taken my measurements. What do I need to do so that when I move the part and put a different(butsame) part on my table it will be able to automatically run the program? Will I need to do a manual align everytime the part is moved? Thanks in advance for the help.

Some training or even some trial and error would help you out tremendously. Alignments have been beat to death on this board, a quick search would give you several good ideas. If nothing else go ask a set up machinist how they do it, its the same thing.
