Nope, that didn't happen. And the OP was saying that there had to be a way to do it without doing an alignment.

I am new to using PC-DMIS and trying to write a program. I have aligned the part and taken my measurements. What do I need to do so that when I move the part and put a different(butsame) part on my table it will be able to automatically run the program? Will I need to do a manual align everytime the part is moved? Thanks in advance for the help.
