I have configuration from our IT to my new Notebook for Offline programig.
Is it Dell Latitude E5420, processor: Intel i5-2520M, 4gb ram, 320gb hdd, and integrate Intel HD Graphics card?
what do you mean about this configuration?
Dell Precision M series is the way to go for laptops running pcdmis.
Specify an Nvidia QUADRO graphics card.
It will also allow you to do other things while running pcdmis.
Its also fairly future proof.
(i.e. It will last and wont run out of resourses in a year)
One of my collegues has one with pcdmis and UG running on it at the same time and doesn't have any issues with the laptop.
(pcdmis is another matter)
Alienware are gaming laptops and come with gamer graphics cards.
