Disable the probe changer?

Hey guys/gals!

I have a probe changer that works perfectly, but i have a part on the table that i am programing for that is so large that it intrudes into the probe changing area. This happens frequently enough that I need a way to disable the changer. What i have been doing is going into the probe changer setup box, and selecting "none" as my changer type. This works, but the downside is, when I want to reactivate the changer, i have to go back and do the alignment and such again.

Is there a toggle that I can't seem to find? Anyone else have a better solution?

  • No, i have not had to actually move the changer, just can't use it some times because a large part will get too close to it. I will try this method of renaming the "toolc" file. and see if that works.

    Thanks for the tip, I really appreciate it, that could possibly save me a minimum of 15 mins. setup time.... easy!
