Good afternoon everyone. We have as one of our CMM's, a "ONE" machine and as of late as we crank up the speed of run of any of the proven PCDMIS programs to near 90-100% the machine stops and displays this error, "TR-FG 117, Y Amplitude Error" Any ideas what's going on with this? Usually this is tech support question but we're hoping a "quicker" response then thru the normal tech channels. Thanx.
We had the similar issue, at a certain area on the table it would give the Y axis amplitude error. Replaced the Y axis card in controller and, in our case, haven't had an issue since.
Thanx people. Am w a i t i n g for service response as I was scolded for discussing a tech issue on the forum. My opinion is one of what is the software without the machine? Anywho, thanx again.
Apologies if my quick reply was taken as scolding, I'm just posting quickly while drinking too much coffee again.
Always check the forum, even for hardware stuff. But if it is hardware, always call service also.
Naaa. Don't sweat it Josh. Thought I was violating the prime the directive in asking a quick tech question. STILL awaiting a tech response. That's why I ask the forum. They know their s**t. Many a time I saved a tech visit with info the forum supplied. Everything from corrupt files during boot up to loose wires. Great source of info. As for me the only thing I'm sweating right now is that my Ravens have to play tonight in a Denver house full of pis*** off fans from last year's miracle win with a team that's been totally retooled.
