Just started at a new company a few days ago and they have a touch trigger scanning probe (sm25). I managed to set it up with no prior knowledge of what i was doing but all ive managed is single line scans. I dont have a CAD and need to know how to do a patch scan across the surface of the part. As of right now Ive managed to map the scan without issues but when I go to finish the feature and i goes to test it, the first point just jams into the part and stops. Any ideas?
Thats what I meant, its the SP25-SM25-1-SH25-1 altogether. I appreciate the heads up and i will be more careful, but unfortunately im the only CMM guy here and this machine has been unused for a little while. Im still not entirely familiar with what is what, ive only been doing this a year.
