Just started at a new company a few days ago and they have a touch trigger scanning probe (sm25). I managed to set it up with no prior knowledge of what i was doing but all ive managed is single line scans. I dont have a CAD and need to know how to do a patch scan across the surface of the part. As of right now Ive managed to map the scan without issues but when I go to finish the feature and i goes to test it, the first point just jams into the part and stops. Any ideas?
Im not sure what you mean a full scan calibration but I did calibrate with the fixed ball. I'll change the probing parameters. Point density was at two and force was at .12. Changing to Nullfilter, all the other options were already selected. About to take my lunch then Ill let you know how it runs after.
