Attempted to open a Step cad file for a new program on our offline station. As soon as I click on File/Import/ Step I get an error message stating "You can not open M:\Part Programs 325\j.PRG for writing. Error code 0" Note: J is the actual program name. However, the Part Programs 325 folder name had been changed to Part Programs within the last month. Programs with Cad have been written after this change with no issues. I created a new program and imported the same cad file on our online CMM station. When I opened the program offline the cad file appeared with the program. I then tried to create an autocircle offline. The dialog appeared normal. I clicked on my feature and pressed end but the dialog will not close. The only way to get out of the dialog is to close pc dmis using the task manager.
One other detail; when I first started creating my program the computer didn't find the probe directory. It had a probe name but no tip angles and no other probe names listed. When I rebooted the probe file appeared as normal.
The big issue now is the lockup on autofeature. I know what I have to do to get the cad working but it really slows things down to only be able to do measured features instead of auto features.
