How to place points exactly on center line

I am trying to Probe a line right down the center of my part where the hits come in from the appropriate angles. I could make it from individual points or a line, but I don't have scanning capabilities. My main question is how to I put the points for a profile exactly on the centerline.

  • Just touch probing auto lines I do two lines on the OD of a part to get the bevel angle fast that way where it is not critical... you will see theo are bang on but measured might be off a bit... still better than I can hold a protractor though
