hole location

I have to get a positional location (-A-|-B-|-C-) off a .028 diameter hole. The smallest probe (stylus) we have is .020 (.5mm)..... and of course thats , in theory, a clearance of .004 per side/radii... This does not seem to be working , because of the clearance. Does anyone know of a smaller stylus or a better way of inspecting? You know... with GD&T.... three datums.... if I use a micro-hite I am checking in two axis'. Ugh.... GD&T. Any help/ideas will be appreciated! Thanks

If you don't have the right probe or even a Deltronic Pin, to put in there, Put it on a Comparator or Layout table, till you get either one, The CMM wasn't always around, there are other ways, to check, why your waiting for the probe or pins
