Plane vector flipping

Can anyone explain why the vector of the plane is flipping?

I'm not hitting a surface/simulator that the part is sitting on, I am hitting the part.

Plane facing straight up in the air, hits straight down on Z.

Honestly, I'm not doing it, my guy 30miles away is and I remoted in.
The program worked yesterday.

Today, it refuses to keep the vector.
Did a restart of the PC.
Did a restart of the PC and the controller.

  • Readpnt on a 4" bore is easy! Do this:

-Create readpoint. Make sure you put good pictures in your supporting comments
-INCREASE the following parameters: PREHIT to 2", RETRACT to 2", CHECK to 2". So it isn't painfully slow to watch, increase your TOUCHSPEED to something larger than normal. I usually run at TOUCHSPEED/5 (mm/sec) but for my first initial junk pick dia I will run it at TOUCHSPEED/15 or so
-Using above parameters, measure & origin to DIA1.
-Return your ph,rt, chck, and ts to normal values
    -Measure DIA2 at 0,0 & origin to DIA2
-Now, bang out a plane & align to the plane & DIA2 and BAM now your part is "found". Rest is up to you.
