i have a round part with a 30.5 id and a 31.50 od with a 4 hole bolt hole pattern. when i program plane circle scan i click on jump hole . I programmed 3 circles scan with jump hole it says scan path empty. if i take jump hole off then i get a path. What am i missing.
The jump hole amount is too much. It is probably default to 25.4mm or 1 inch decrease to an amount just greater than the hole chamfer and any swelling. increase hit amount (points per mm) as well.
i tried as you suggested no luck. i did a circle plane scan on another surface on that also has 4 holes bolt pattern but is a much bigger surface. jump hole worked.. could probe diameter have an effect? i tried all else i can think of. i was at scan training 2 weeks ago and i called the trainer. he said put in a ticket.. any suggestions would be appreciated
