Profile difference between geotol and legacy

Fairly straight forward measurement. Plane on an angled surface opposite the A datum. which is also a plane. B is a line and C is a target point. I reported out the same plane in both geo and legacy. The min and max look the same besides 1/10" on the min. Legacy showing out of tolerance. Geo showing in. So my question is where is this 0.0028" measurement coming from? Running 2020r2.

Your Legacy dimension has a tolerance of ±.001. Your Geometric Tolerance dimension has a tolerance of ±.010.

Although the definition of actual value has changed for profile of a surface in ASME Y14.5.1-2019, conformance conditions have not changed. If you set your alignment appropriately per the DRF, then Legacy and Geometric Tolerance should give you the same result (not necessarily in the measured value, but in the determination of conformance to the specification.)
