I'm using basic version of pc dmis CAD and I wonder if there is an option to automatically find where the higher ground starts. Thanks.
LOL, based on the title of your post I thought this was going to be a moral discussion. I'm almost disappointed it isn't a gripe session about a boss or co-worker.
I agree with Matt. Finding the intersection point of two lines is generally the way to go. The tricky part is if the step height is smaller than your probe tip radius, in that case you can't measure a line on the edge.
