Cannot open programs. "Open" Message keeps popping up even after I close it.

I am having trouble with a CMM at my new shop. I have never had this problem with any other machines prior to this one. When I open the program, there is a message that says "Offnen" which means "Open." I can close the message, but then it pops up again after about 5 seconds. I can preview the recent programs, but it does not let me open them. I tried turning everything off and on, and unplugging all of the chords and plugging them back in. It keeps happening after about 2 days now. Contacted Hexagon, but they take forever to respond. Has anyone had this problem before?

    So after Hexagon's quote (which was $7,500 mostly due to travel expenses) I started messing with the hardware a bit myself. Did some more research, and saw that others with the same machine had similar problems. It was the e-stop itself on the machine, I believe. The machine showed the e-stop was pressed even when it was not. Pressed them all a couple times today, really made sure to deactivate the e-stop (which we did try before), but this time it worked. I read that people have had to replace the buttons before, but we did not have to this time. Probably will be in the future to prevent this issue again. But it was a hardware issue on the e-stop.

    the travel cost for there techs Is INSANE!!!! I have had to have a tech come out as well and 5000K for travel???
