2 different size qualification spheres and 3 different tip sizes in one program.

I am running 2021.2. I have a program that uses 3 different tip sizes (2mmx50mm,1mmx50mm and 0.5mmx10mm) and 2 different size qualification spheres (1" sphere for the 1 and 2mm tips and 8mm sphere for 0.5mm tip). I am having issues with false measurements due to i think the way I am calibrating the 0.5mm tip. I only use the 0.5mm for 4 circles with diameters of .043". My question is " how should i go about calibrating these tips correctly for this program. Thanks in advance.

  • Can you post more information about "false mreasurements" and the way you calibrate 0.5mm ?
In general you must master ball defined by master probe in the 0,0 rotation. Defined by answering YES to question if the ball has beed moved and all others probes calibrated in the DCC by answering NO to the question if the ball has been moved.

You can use 8mm ball as master for all the tips.
