I can never remember the exact sequence, but you create an alignment before any other hits or alignments that rotates the alignment as desired, then click Yes or No when it asks to update the dependent commands, then delete the new alignment and click the opposite of whatever you clicked the first time. Save a copy and experiment with it before messing with the real copy.
