Our plant has a Global S on the floor where dust is flying 24x7. I attached pictures for advise how to clear dust to maintain the machine . And how often should I try to clean ?
Yikes. I'd constantly be wiping the granite where the air bearings run. Cleaning the scales once per week and probably vacuuming the baffles(dust covers) once a month and then constantly be complaining that a high accuracy measuring machine should be subjected to those conditions and at least have some walls built around it, if not its own clean room. But having worked for and visited numerous companies, I understand that most of them are ignorant. Good luck.
