2017 PC-DMIS, just updated computer for first time. Windows and PC-DMIS. Also connected to router which could have messed up settings. pC-DMIS says tcpip 100.0.0.1, card 100.0.0.2, 100duplex. No response to ping.

Can you communicate by an internet soft (IE, edge,... )?
Thread moved from Using Nexus Community.
If no response to PING (100.0.0.1) then it's likely a dodgy cable or connection, or the controller isn't switched on (yeah, I know, but I've seen it happen!)
Check the ethernet (or on older machines- serial) cable going from the computer to the machine's control box. If its connection loose, the computer cannon communicate with the CMM.
Glad it's sorted
