I just got a used 3000i Romer arm, it came without laptop and software. Can you recommend a good laprop for PCDMIS Portable (CAD++), also I need to know if WinRDS and PCMIS can run on Windows Vista.
Vista graphics drivers are still a little unstable. Try the Windows latest driver, and then the mfg's driver if that doesn't work. Also try the demo block model to make sure that it's not the model itself.
I've got PC-DMIS 4.3MR1 loaded on my year old HP laptop and I've run into a problem that maybe graphics card related, not sure. I can program offline with generally no problems until I get to some surfaces on the CAD model that will not let me pick features off of it. The graphics doesn't quite look either.
Tried loading 3.7MR3 and 4.2MR1 and neither of those would load.
