Romer not responding

We just purchased a Romer Infinite 2.0 six axis arm a couple of months ago. For whatever reason I will start taking hits and the arm will just stop responding. It won’t take a hit and it won’t beep. It doesn’t happen all the time, it’s sporadic. Has anyone experienced this problem? Any suggestions? If I exit PC DMIS and then start it back up it will start working again.

    Any other suggestions?

Yes, I'm going to send you my phone number in a private message.

Did you guys figure it out? Care to share? Smiley Looks like a common issue...

FWIW, I am running two Infinite 2.0 arms right now; a six axis with V4.2MR1 and a seven axis (yuck) with V4.3something. The seven axis goes to sleep quite often like was originally described. I just hang the arm up, hold my tongue just right and pull it off its rest a few times, maybe run it past the A encoder zero a few times and voila! it beeps eventually and comes back alive. I continue to measure and haven't seen what I thought were anomalous results after this kind of event... Confused

The six axis machine never falls asleep like is being described. It will on thankfully rare occasions crash entirely, but it never falls asleep.

    Thanks -
