Does anyone know what feature should I measure to check the profile of surface tolerance?If I tried to insert profile of surface feature control frame from dimension toolbar,it took even point feature which I had measured on given surface.But logically profile of surface is a 3D tolerance control GD&T symbol so we have to measure surface feature to show the deviation from given surface.The problem is I don't know if threre is any thing to measure surface or costruct it from point features in PCDMIS.So I would be very grateful if anyone can tell what should I have done.
I believe that you measure with an arm... Do you have a CAD ?
If you have a CAD, jleond solution is a good way.
Another way is to create a feature set from points, then dimension it.
If you don't have CAD, I don't see how you can do it easaly...

Yeah I have been using Portable arm.I have CAD and took Auto vector points on the surface to be checked,i tried to construct the surface from measured point but it says" invalid input:Must be a scan with more than one row of points".So I inserted the profile of surface feature control frame with measured point as input feature.I don't know if that is right.
As you have mentioned How could I creat feature set from measured points?
