When I open the auto features list it only has 6 features to choose from. This has never happened in the 3 years. Is there something that turns these choices on and off or is this a glitch in the software? I have been told this isn't efficient use of the portable (should be using the quick measure) but I started programming CMM first and self teaching on the portable. Just using what I know works. Thanks for your help.
That stuff is only gray-ed out if you don't have a high enough level of the software license (or if Hex made a mistake, which is possible, they're people too).
If you are certain you're supposed to have those features unlocked, give them a call and they'll fix it for you.
