Is there a way to fix the model in place in the graphics window? In my years on the CMM I have always incorporated viewsets and screenshots and things into my programs, both to help the operator and just to give a certain presentation. I'm finding that all of that goes in the crapper when I run a Romer program and the model starts moving around on the screen. I can see where this would be useful for an exceptionally large part, but for most cases I would prefer that the model stay in one place and not zoom in and out randomly as I'm running.
You may want to try to save a Viewset in the program to assist operators. Below I have an example for your testing. Also you may want to remove the checkmark with auto scale in the setting to keep the part zooming in and out randomly.
I use viewsets frequently. I will try disabling auto scale though. Figured that there had to be a setting somewhere that I just wasn't finding. Thank you.
I've tried almost everything on the Romer to get the cad to quit spinning & zooming. The ONLY thing I have found that works is to make a double (over & under) view (view setup). The bottom view will not spin and zoom, so I then push the divider up as far as possible to give me the biggest view.
Other than that, I've found nothing that will work.
