Installed upgrade and lost network access

I looked for this specific issue under other posts but didn't find anything exactly like it.

I'm running PC-DMIS 2019 R1 on two ROMER absolute arms and a FARO. They all have the same Feature Control Frame/Datum issues as well as hole diameter issues.

I installed an update to PC-DMIS 2019 R2, hoping it would help some of the Feature Control Frame issues we've been having. I don't know if it helped with that or not, because now I can't access any of my network drives. Or, rather, after I re-mapped the drives, I can't see any files on them.

There's got to be a simple solution to this issue.

Thanks!

  • Hello, Peter,

Our IT tech finally got around to trying this and it DID NOT work.

Anybody got any other suggestions? My computer still has access to the network. PC-DMIS will not access network drives.

    Thanks!

If your company infrastructure runs through Windows Server, then the administrator can also prevent access server-side. If they've done this, then they need to modify Group Policy (IIRC) to allow access to elevated programs.
