There is no known fault specific to VISIO and Vision in V4.1.
You should check the usual PC-DMIS suspect - is the Microsoft Hotfix applied to stop GDI object leaks?
Also, check there is sufficient memory on the PC. If you are using CAD, then you may need to increase your physical memory on the computer.
Incidentally, V4.2 offers auto homing for the VISIO 300.
I was having major problems with it just kicking me off just by opening dmis. I used it just days ago with no prob. Plus now i am getting registration errors? I am not sure.
Registration errors usually show at install time. Had you tried installing V4.2? I believe there is an issue with some reporting OCX files which are not compatible with running side by side with earlier versions.
