Has anyone used any of the "instructor kits" for GD&T that are on the market?
If you have, which package/company/author and what did you like or dislike?
I have been tasked with preparing some "basic" GD&T courses that I will be teaching to my co-workers. The aim is to improve understanding without "getting too deep into it."
Almost like learning to swim without getting wet, I know.
while i haven't bought full the training package, i HAVE bought (with my own wampum)
Don Day's cool laminated wall chart, as well as The GD&T Hierarchy, Y14.5-2009 Textbook. Well illustrated, and explains GD&T basics pretty **** well for 90 bucks.
If Don threw in a free surface plate and indicator, it would be my pick for "Value of the Year".
and even 'cooler' he's listed right there on the ASME Y14 committee... sub-committee 5....
Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
great job, Tec-Ease! (applause)
