GD&T training materials

Howdy!

Has anyone used any of the "instructor kits" for GD&T that are on the market?

If you have, which package/company/author and what did you like or dislike?

I have been tasked with preparing some "basic" GD&T courses that I will be teaching to my co-workers. The aim is to improve understanding without "getting too deep into it."

Almost like learning to swim without getting wet, I know.

Thanks in advance.

  • In my last job we used the Al and Scott Neumann GeoTol Pro training materials. We plan on using it here also. It is really good stuff. They talk a lot about inspection. It helped me pass the ASME certification. They have powerpoint kits, videos, models, online training etc. The text books are in color

ASME has them do public programs around the country. I attended one in Vegas. very practical easy to understand. The best I have seen. he is on the ASME committee also.

There is a sample online course and a free quiz on their site https://www.geotol.com
No need to register - pretty cool
