Trying to figure out how to clip a CAD model.
There is a donut on the end of my CAD model.
There is supposed to be a flat face, to measure a plane, with a I.D. chamfer, to measure a cone.
Can anyone tell me how to remove that donut?

Hello,
check this out,
In the CAD Layer menu you can create a new layer by pressing "Create" Button
select and move all CAD-surfaces you don't need on this new CAD layer by pressing "Add" Button
you may have to delete the CAD-surfaces from the old layer by clicking on "subtract" Button
and finally hide the new layer.
I know I'm late to the game on this one, but for future reference or for someone else's knowledge, if you have an errant artifact (anything on the model that shouldn't be there), you can permanently delete it as shown below. It could just be an assembly level you can turn off, but that's not always the case. If you're "positive" it's just something that shouldn't be there, follow these steps below to remove it.
You can also delete single CAD entities/patches using the "Remove/delete" -> "CAD" (can't remember the correct menus). It is not among the regular CAD functions.
