Hope im not offending anyone, but a new customer of mine has to have there reports in a certain excel layout format and they take the data from datapage to transfer it to there format. So it would take me forever to hand type in every x,y,z location for there 6pc. any help would be great i dont need a new version i dont think. just some link or web page that anyone may know.
From >RTF or text to Excel
OPEN EXCEL
GO TO FILE OPEN OR OPEN
FILE TYPE( ALL FILES)
SEARCH FOR YOUR REPORT IN RTF or text
CLICK OPEN
A TEXT IMPORT WIZARD BOX WILL OPEN
CLICK DELIMITED
NEXT
IN DELIMITERS WINDOW MARK TAB AND SPACE
FINISHED
WHEN IT OPENS EVERYTHING AT THE TOP WILL BE ANY GRAPHIC IN THE WORD FILE.
AT THE BOTTOM WILL BE YOUR REPORT IN EXCEL. JUST GET RID OF THE GARBAGE AT THE TOP.
AFTER IT IS IN EXCEL YOU CAN USE EXCEL TO PUT IT ALL TOGETHER and send were you want or change the way you want.
