DataPage+ 2011 MR1 CAD view

New install of DataPage+ 2011 MR1

We are using the external command method to transfer data from pcdmis ( 2011 MR1 ) ie.

EXTERNALCOMMAND/NO_DISPLAY, NO_WAIT ; C:\PROGRAM FILES\WAI\DATAPAGE+ 2011 MR1\DATAPAGESTATS.EXE

This works fine but we have no CAD view available and the option in the view selection options is greyed out.

Using the STATS/ON,DATAPAGE+,Local method we get CAD in the thumbnails and the graphic window in Datapage but the CAD
option in the view selections options is still greyed out.

Also using the STATS/ON,DATAPAGE+,Local method the Transactions do not update.

Any ideas anyone?

After selecting the part you need the model for. You are on the first screen after the thumbnails. In the upper rh corner there is a button for the part selected. If you click on the button it will drop a menu for uploading cad. Note: Limited versions of cad allowable for upload. No option for STEP files. I primarily use IGES, so that's not issue for me.

Thanks for that.

Found it ok but all options greyed out.

I'm now wondering if the CAD import is an optional feature our license does not support.

Time to get on the phone I think and see what Hexagon say.

I just looked at Datapage and pulled up the modules and I do have two listed, Datapage + and Dataview +.

Looks like we only have Datapage+ in the modules, that explains it.
