Reports in Datapage+

I am using PCDMIS 2010 MR2 with Datapage+ v4.0.3661.14860

I setup a datasource & database. I have used the STATS/ON,DATAPAGE+,Datasource1 command at the beginning of my cmm program.

Datapage+ will recgonize my program after it has been executed(cad & features) yet I cannot get it to show a report? what am I missing?

btw pcdmis & datapage+ help files have not provided me with an anwer, unless I just couldnt find it.

Any suggestions?

thanks
  • Am i wrong in assuming that Datapage+ can serve as a platform to view/save reports generated by PCDMIS?

When you open datapage+, on the left hand side, select the parts under "transactions" then choose either dimension or dimension variable from the drop down in the top left corner. Select the features you would like to look at with the check boxes. Then hit the apply to all button that is next to the features. Send me a pm if you need more help.
  • Thanks for the reply cappy6124. I believe I was under a false assumption that I could import my reports, generated by PCDMIS, directly into Datapage+ & use it as an easy to navigate file explorer so to say(also for easy backup for reports, the .mdf file) Correct me if i'm wrong but I now think Datapage is not designed for such a task. I guess I'm back to simply saving a .pdf of all my reports..

    Thanks!
  • Well yes and no, You can use data page to look for a specific part and get a text report from that single part. Will it look like the report generated in PC-DMIS? No. but it is possible. We still prefere PC-DMIS reports here b/c they are more descriptive. DataPage+ is for SPC, so when it comes down to looking at a specific part its power is pretty lacking.
