Dp uses the Part name located in heading of edit window not the name of the prog. file.
Just to clarify.
Try deleting vista and lock files from dp folder.

Thanks, Roberto. The part number is in the header of the edit window and the path in the stats command is correct. But not only is it sending to the wrong folder, it also sends it as a different part number. I've tried deleting all the temp files and nothing will fix it.

After clicking OK on the error box, you can see it sending data to several different folders as several different part numbers. I have never seen this before.

I think that's a QC-Calc thing only. Sure offers a lot of flexibility, doesn't it? A single part program can feed data to as many different databases as you like.

I was under the impression that the command would just send the data to the specified location.

I've tried everything and still getting the same problem. Getting data sent to multiple folders under multiple part names. I deleted the xstats file but it does not get recreated. I don't know what else to do.

Start by posting the code (stats stuff), maybe a DP guru can see a weakness, even if it worked before.

By the way, I've also tried creating a new database in a new folder on a different network drive and it still did the same thing.

Delete the stats commands and redo? Is the data making it to the C: per the command? The directory does exist right? Weird one I'll grant you!

Make a copy of the dtabase file and save it somewhere safe.
Then...

Remove any stuff that looks like this from your folder...
.dbu
.dbl
vista.dbl
lockmgr.dbl
.LOG
and any numbers e.g. MX50015, EX4000

LCK..lp0
LCK..tty2
LCK..tty1

Oh yeah, and also delete the xstats11.tmp file

Deleted stats command and put back in. It's going to C: drive in the wrong folders as different part names. Deleted xstats11 file. It DOES NOT get recreated. Deleted all dbu, dbl. Don't have a vista.dbl. Have vista.taf. Do I need to do a new install?

XSTATS11 should be found in the PC-DMIS folder of installation. Delete that one and see if it gets recreated upon execution.
