Good morning everybody. I am encountering a unique situation today. I had some xml files of a part program ran on other machine. My datapage+ is showing all transaction out of tolerance even thought those are not.
Please View pic and I hope I somebody have gone through this unique situation.
When I had DP+ 2011, it would show random stuff out of tolerance until you right click (on anything) and click "Edit Variables" and then close the window. That would update the "out of tolerance" coloring.
Other than that, as long as it shows in tolerance on your text or CAD or chart reports, it's nothing important.
The Data Editor tab is literally irrelevant. If it shows correct on the reports, that's all that matters.
As Kirby pointed out below, changing tolerances, nominals, editing the data, etc can all affect the color. Changing it from a bad number to a good number will leave the text red. Looking at the colors on the DataEditor tab is a waste of time and is completely irrelevant. I invite you to submit a bug report though. Just because it doesn't matter, doesn't mean it shouldn't be fixed.
You are right Vinni. I am smoking extra pack of cigarettes now a days. Kribster do not give up yet. I am thinking why not I change leader line color to green in all conditions.....lol excel sheet is going to look ok anyways. Give me some crazy idea ladies.
Problem Solve. For some reason when you import xml part program data, datapage+ consider -TOL as +Tol. all you have to do is put "-" at your lower Tol. Kribster, "You will always find solution if you will learn not to give up".
Sonyali6 Yeah, already did that weeks ago, added plus signs, took minus signs off, added minus sign to plus tolerance. Notta. Even wrote F-U in there, I'm pretty sure DataPage flipped me off
