I know these machines very well and I know stretching beyond 5 places is pushing its limits on most machines. I'm asking this question to see if there is a statistical reason they limited it to 5 in DP+.
Stretching beyond 4 decimal places, in inches, is pushing it. 5 is laughable.
Regardless, there is probably not any good reason for DataPage to be stuck at 5 decimal. Likely, it just is. Submit a ticket requesting that it be increased.
Check through the settings. I know you can select the decimal places in DP/RT, from 1 to 6. Even with Pcdmis set to 3 (metric), the data it sends to DP is 6 place.
Still, that doesn't mean anything with regards to DataPage. DP tech support is insistent that the XML file created by DataPageStats is entirely controlled by PC-DMIS. DataPage never does anything wrong.
